10 Foods That Improve Your Sex Life

Sex and Food. Two of the basic needs in life. The act of eating can be very sensuous.

Many foods are known aphrodisiacs. Smells evoke memories. Some of the most popular scents to men are baking spices: cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla. Over the years, spices have offered the luxury of intriguing tastes, impressive incenses and delightful perfumes, and, as tools of the rich, they have always been included in recipes for improving sexual potency. The natural aphrodisiacs help increase sexual desire and may conjure happy memories and a feeling of comfort and safety.

Many foods are sensual in the way we eat them and how they resemble intimate body parts. What foods do you think of? I think of the inside of a fig. And of course oysters.

Pollination of flowers is really “plant sex”, across species.  Many food-related “aphrodisiacs” are because of the actual vitamins and minerals that are in the food we eat. Our bodies are craving and needing these nutrients and they stimulate the body nutritiously.

Here are some of the vitamins and minerals that can improve your sex life and the foods that contain them. Foods rich in zinc improve testosterone. Some of the most potent are: spinach, pinenuts, figs, and oysters.

Foods high in Vitamin B6 regulate prolactin, a libido enhancer. These B6 rich foods include avocados & chick peas.

Vitamin C aids in blood circulation and improves female libido. Food high in vitamin C are oranges, yellow bell peppers, and broccoli.

Celery is unique and contains phtyochemicals which combine to admit pheromones that attract opposite sex. Plus it is high in water content, which improves hydration.  Another food that is amazing for hydration and is watermelon. Watermelon relaxes blood vessels to increase blood flow, which is healthy.
